Reträtt Gala Premiere – A Big Thank You to All Who Contributed

Last Thursday, we had the fantastic premiere of our documentary Reträtt! It's been an incredible journey bringing this film to life, and we want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has been involved along the way.

Thank you to Micke's friends who shared their stories, to the musicians who provided us with amazing music, and to everyone who allowed us to use old photos and videos – you’ve made Reträtt come alive and feel so genuine. It’s a joy to work with material that carries so much soul and history.

We are truly grateful for the support from SVT and especially Saam Kapadia. They have been wonderful partners, and we're so excited that we can now share the film with the public.

Reträtt is now available on SVT Play, ready to meet its audience. We hope you’ll watch it, feel moved, and experience the magic we’ve tried to capture on screen. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!

The punk generation is heading into retirement. How will it go? Filmmaker Mikael Westerlund, together with friends from Rågsved and Oasen, has created a personal and poetic film about aging—where unique archival footage blends with sorrow and everyday humor.

The documentary is one hour long, premiering on SVT Play on November 10 and airing on SVT2 on November 14 at 20:00.

Produced by The Motor Moving Pictures in co-production with Råg Produktion and SVT, with support from the Swedish Film Institute, Scen & Film, and Scenkonst Sörmland.
